In October 2006 StarTrak introduced ReeferTrak Sentry, a low cost cellular-based monitoring and control solution designed for refrigerated truckload carriers and private fleets. Sentry is the first solution using cellular communications to  provide full GPS tracking, monitoring and remote two-way command and control functionally for Thermo King and Carrier reefer unit microprocessors.
This product is ideal for truck/trailer fleets that require GPS tracking, monitoring, and reefer control but at a lower cost than traditional satellite-based systems. A remote power control option is also available for Sentry.
