ReeferTrak Scout is a closed-loop network solution that uses short-range RF communications to provide local monitoring and point-to-point single- and multi-temp reefer control for dairy, grocery and food distribution fleets. The Scout unit is installed on the reefer trailer or truck and monitors GPS reefer status and operating conditions (temperature set-points, alarm conditions, etc.) and communicates to a base station located at your terminal or distribution center (DC). When the reefer unit is within range of the base station, the user has full control of the reefer unit to include the capability  to remotely start and pre-trip/pre-cool trailers, check fuel levels, etc.
When the unit is out of range of the DC, the ReeferTrak unit serves as a data logger to record GPS locations and reefer operating information during route operations and downloads that information to the network upon its return.
ReeferTrak Scout assures that temperature set-points are set properly before the trailer leaves a DC and provides 100% assurance that the temperatures were kept in compliance while in transit.
